Terms of use

The agreement between you and MORI URBAN LIFESTYLE LLP when you use Solo Run.

Agreement and eligibility

These terms apply to the Solo Run app, website, support and related services. By creating an account or using Solo Run, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 13 and legally able to enter a binding agreement where you live. If local law requires parental consent at a higher age, your parent or guardian must consent. If you use Solo Run for an organisation, you confirm that you can bind that organisation.

Your account

Give accurate account information and keep it current. You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting your sign-in method. Tell us promptly at hello@moriurban.com if you suspect unauthorised access. Do not share a one-time code or impersonate another person.

Permission to use the service

We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use Solo Run for its intended purpose, subject to these terms and store rules. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer or create a competing service from Solo Run except where applicable law expressly allows it.

Your content and licence

You keep ownership of routes, notes, recordings, photographs and other content you add. You give MORI URBAN LIFESTYLE LLP a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, transmit, display, back up and format that content only as needed to operate, secure and support Solo Run. The licence ends when the content is deleted, subject to backup cycles, legal retention and copies you chose to share.

You must have the rights and permissions needed for anything you add, including another person’s image, voice or personal information. You remain responsible for your content and the consequences of sharing it outside Solo Run.

Activity Sync data

Apple Health and Health Connect control access to their respective data stores. Activity Sync reads only the data types you permit, and a device or platform update may change availability. Revoking permission may stop imports without deleting earlier Solo Run copies.

Solo Run records GPS runs you start, but it is not a medical device, coach, emergency service or live location-sharing service. Metrics can be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. Do not use the service to diagnose a condition or make an urgent health or safety decision.

Acceptable use

You may not use Solo Run to:

  • Break the law or violate another person’s rights.
  • Access an account, system or data without permission, or test a vulnerability outside our security policy.
  • Introduce malware, scrape at scale, overload the service, bypass a technical limit or interfere with another user.
  • Upload unlawful, abusive or deceptive content, or expose another person’s precise location without a lawful reason.
  • Use health data or service output to make decisions about another person’s insurance, credit, employment or eligibility.

Third-party services

Solo Run may depend on app stores, device operating systems, Apple Health, Health Connect, sign-in providers, maps and other services we do not control. Their terms and privacy rules govern your use of them. We are not responsible for a third-party service, its availability or changes it makes.

Our property and feedback

Solo Run, its software, design, branding and original content belong to MORI URBAN LIFESTYLE LLP or its licensors. These terms do not transfer that ownership to you. If you send feedback, you allow us to use it without payment or restriction, but we will not treat a private support message as public content.

Changes, suspension and termination

We may add, remove or change features and may suspend part of the service for maintenance, security, legal requirements or events beyond our reasonable control. We may restrict or close an account that materially breaches these terms, creates risk, remains inactive for an extended period after notice, or must be closed by law.

You may stop using Solo Run and delete your account at any time. Terms that by their nature should continue, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits and dispute terms, survive termination.

Service disclaimer

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Solo Run is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not promise that routes, metrics, imports, exports, generated text or stored content will always be accurate, available or recoverable.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions. Those exclusions apply only to the extent permitted where you live.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, MORI URBAN LIFESTYLE LLP and its partners, personnel and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, personal injury or property loss arising from use of or inability to use Solo Run.

Our total liability for claims connected with the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for Solo Run during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or INR 5,000. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limits mandatory consumer rights.

Your responsibility to us

Where the law permits, you will defend and indemnify MORI URBAN LIFESTYLE LLP against third-party claims, losses and reasonable costs caused by your unlawful use of Solo Run, your content, or your material breach of these terms. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim resulted from our own conduct.

Governing law and disputes

The laws of India govern these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts with jurisdiction in Bengaluru, Karnataka will hear any dispute, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Before filing a claim, email hello@moriurban.com with enough detail for both sides to try to resolve it informally. Either side may still seek urgent court relief where delay could cause serious harm.

Changes and general terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will give notice required by law before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms.

If a court finds one provision unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it as part of a reorganisation, financing or sale. These terms, the privacy policy and any store-specific terms form the entire agreement about Solo Run.
